The YMCA of Montclair is proud to be celebrating over 120 years of service to the Greater Montclair Community.  For over a century, we have had the good fortune to positively impact the lives of individuals and families through the breadth and scope of programs that focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

This would not be possible if not for the dedicated staffs that many of our members have come to know and rely upon; and it certainly would not be possible if not for all of our beloved members, who have demonstrated their loyalty to this Y for so many years.

Over the years, the needs of our community have changed, and the Y has always remained a central means to meeting them. We’ve always known that positive change only comes about when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.  Times have changed, and each new year presents new challenges and new opportunities as well. We know firsthand how difficult it can be to find balance in life. That’s why we’re here with you every day, making sure that you, your family and your community have the resources and support needed to learn, grow and thrive.

It is a privilege to work at the YMCA and to give back to the community.  Each day we experience special moments, some of them coming from the smiles of children who learned they’re being sent to Camp at the Lake through a scholarship; others from hearing members talk about the friendships they’ve made at the Y; still others who have lost weight, got fit and rediscovered themselves while finding balance through our wellness programs; and thousands of others who have demonstrated their incredible heart and generosity by supporting our Strong Kids Campaign.  These moments continue every day we open our doors, and we thank you.
