Early Adventures

Early Adventures Camp offers children ages 3 years-Kindergarten a safe, fun and creative first time camp experience. Activities include swim lessons, gym activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, dance and special events created around a weekly theme.

School of Performing Arts Afternoon Camps
Registration Saturday, March 24th, 8 a.m. -12 noon
Brand new camps for your young performers! Kids will have fun and learn in these jam packed one week sessions. In a creative atmosphere campers will learn new skills in different performing arts disciplines like Ballet, Hip Hop, Acting or Singing. Each week will end in a small in-studio performance for parents and families.

New Discoveries
Registration Saturday, April 28th, 8 a.m. -12 noon
New Discoveries Camp offers a daily schedule including swim, sports, arts & crafts, adventures in drama, mad science and water sports. All of our weeks are theme-based with special events on Fridays, such as Wacky Wild West, Carnival Day, and Olympic Hoopla. On Monday mornings we have camp opening which includes funny skits and an introduction to the week ahead. On Wednesday we have Wacky Wednesdays, which include Crazy Hat Day, Mismatch Day and Crazy Hair Day. Before and After Camp Care are also available.

Camp at the Lake
Registration begins March 1st
The American Camp Association accredited Camp at the Lake offers swim lessons, sports, crafts, nature, science, outdoor survival skills, hiking, archery, recreational swimming, low ropes challenge, drama, dance, boating and fishing. This camp provides children with exciting adventures, cooperative learning and tons of FUN! The campers will express their creativity, unleash their boundless energy, learn new skills and develop meaningful relationships.
Location: YMCA of Montclair facility in West Milford
Ages: 6-12 years old (CIT Camp: 14 years old)
Session Dates: June 25th – August 31st (10 one-week sessions)
Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Traditional Camp for 6-12 year olds: $245.00-$295.00 per session
- Sports Camps (Basketball, Soccer, Sports Fan Club) for 8 – 12 year olds: $245.00-$295.00 per session.
- Specialty Camps (Creative Arts, Performing Arts, Dance, Science and Outdoor Living Skills) for 8-12 year olds: $255.00-$315 per session
- Adventure Camp for 10-12 year olds: $295.00-$355.00 per session
- Counselor in Training for 14 year olds: $495.00-$555.00 (Two week session + free week to volunteer)

Explorers

Teen Travel Camp
Registration begins March 1st
Teens will take exciting trips and participate in leadership workshops, discuss social and cultural awareness and perform community service. Adult staff will maintain a high level of safety and FUN for all participants. Day trips include the following destinations: Six Flags Amusement Park, Hershey Park, Dorney Park, College Tours, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Hurricane Harbor, Philadelphia Excursion, Bowling, Movies, and much more!

Ages: 13-15 years old
Session Dates: June 25th – August 24th (9 one-week sessions)
Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or later, depending on trip destination.
Camp Fees: $295.00 per session
