MONTCLAIR, NJ – The YMCA of Montclair is pleased to welcome Anneke Demarest as its new Chief Development Officer, beginning March 4. She will oversee both development and marketing departments.
“We look forward to Anneke making a deep impact on our annual and long-term development goals,” says David Harrison, YMCA of Montclair Board Member and Financial Development Chair. “She has the experience to provide vision and innovation to our fundraising program.”
Demarest brings over a decade of fundraising and community engagement experience, serving a variety of nonprofit organizations. Her most recent role was as the Director of Development for Preschool Advantage, an organization committed to raising funds for children to access preschool. Before that role, Demarest was the Director of Development at the Montclair-based Jazz House Kids.
Demarest holds a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.A. in Fundraising Management from Columbia University.
