The YMCA Outdoor Education Center is a hidden gem on 30 private acres in West Milford that has been there for almost 50 years.

During the summer we offer Camp at the Lake, an American Camp Association accredited camp that provides children with exciting adventures, cooperative learning, and tons of fun! Campers have an action-packed day starting right after the fun bus ride with morning announcements and wacky events at camp opening. The day then consists of a variety of activities in smaller groups that may include arts and crafts, playing sports, catching a fish, paddling a boat, working as a team, archery, exploring nature and science, and much, much more! While other activities vary from day to day, swim lessons are provided daily. Campers express their creativity, unleash their boundless energy, learn new skills, and develop meaningful relationships.

Our staff includes American Red Cross certified lifeguards; CPR/First Aid and Outdoor Wilderness First Aid certified staff.

The YMCA Outdoor Education Center also hosts Family Days throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
